St. Austin Church & Rectory Facade Renovation | Austin, Texas
Completed: 2018
Services Provided: Architecture
Sixthriver was chosen to oversee the renovation process, which includes designing repairs or replacements for the exterior stone facade, enhancing the entries at both the Guadalupe Street and west alley entrances of the St. Austin Catholic Parish (SACP) building and renovating the existing restrooms. The multi-story SACP building, clad in ashlar masonry, dates back to 1952. It features varying levels, with single-story sections at the south and west elevations and a six-story Tower at the east elevation. The structure comprises two distinct areas: the Church to the south and the Rectory to the north.
