Nestled within Birmingham’s historic Railroad Park district, mere minutes from the University of Alabama campus, the Lumen stands as the city’s newest off-campus Student Living community. Sixthriver spearheaded the design of the common area interiors across Levels 1, 3, and the Sky Lounge, encompassing the leasing office, mail and package room, fitness center, study spaces, music and gaming lounges, and the exterior courtyard.

At the heart of the design, a custom green smoke wallcovering on the first floor pays homage to the school’s dragon mascot, while a hexagon mosaic tile floor seamlessly aligns with the property's branding, serving as a constant reminder for residents to 'Spark Greatness.' These elements create impactful design moments within the bustling, high-traffic areas of the community.
