Inspired by its steady, life-giving force, Sixthriver was founded in 1994, and named after the river that embodies the qualities we strive for: strength, resilience, and the ability to bring people together.

What began as a local design firm has grown into a nationally recognized practice, with a portfolio spanning over 50 million square feet across 30 states and 75 cities. From office buildings and mixed-use developments to student housing, corporate interiors, and hospitality projects, we create spaces that inspire, connect, and serve communities.

As a woman-owned and led firm, we proudly hold HUB, WBE, and DBE certifications. More than 80% of our team are women, actively shaping projects at every level. Collaboration, equity, and innovation drive everything we do, ensuring that our designs reflect both creativity and purpose.
